One of the most important wine-producing countries in the world is France. Some of the most important regions are located here and none of them can deny a specific "terroir". Exceptional wines that include sparkling wines from Reims to heavy red wines from the Languedoc. You can find all important world varieties here. Whether it is Syrah from along the Rhone or Sauvignon from the Loire Valley or Chardonnay from Burgundy all of these wines are of excellent quality.
Champagne
One of the northernmost major wine regions of the world is Champagne. The famous sparkling wine is produced from only three varieties of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The total vineyard area is about 33,000 hectares and the demand for this top product continues to grow. There is an endless range of wines from elegant fine champagnes from Chardonnay to heavier red wines. There are top vintage wines from this area represented in our wine list.
Pierre Baillette
Small family run champagne house situated in Troits Puits, a village south of Reims. Local vineyards already belong to the Premier Cru category. Small production with high quality from Brut to Cuvée prestige.

Bergére
The Bergére family has been producing champagne for several generations. They have been making wine under their own brand and vineyards since 1949. André Bergére is the representative of the current generation and he has been the head of the winery since 1986. The winery is located in Epernay and the production base comes from the famous vineyards in Etoges, Conga and Férebrianges.

These wineries originated from two historically significant families of Champagne, which have been growing and producing wine since 1889. The marriage of Olivier Collard and Caroline Piccard in 1996 brought both families and wine houses together. The couple from Epernay manages 15 hectares of their own vineyards in the famous Côte de Blancs area in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Small production with great finesse such as Blanc de Noirs, a classic cuvée or the prestigious Cuvée des Archives.

This family winery dates back to 1951. The cellar and vineyard are located in the village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Twelve hectares of vineyards fall in the category of Grand Cru which is located in the Côte de Blancs and it is a 100% Chardonnay. The other six hectares are in Les Coteaux Sézannais which has 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.

Sparkling Wines
Italy
This is a country with a large number of wine styles and varieties, often autochthon. The vine is grown in almost all regions of Italy. Perhaps the most sophisticated food pairings with meals can be found in Italy and Italians enjoy this passionately. The most important wine regions are undoubtedly Piemonte and Tuscany that produce great red wines. White wines grow well not just in Trentino and Friuli.
Domus Picta
This winery was founded in 1848 in the area of Valdobbiadene producing top quality Prosecco. Only the Glera variety is grown here since it is the only one allowed for the production of Prosecco. Wines from Domus Picta are delicate, fruity with a light sparkle, typical for traditional Prosecco.

This is an often unjustly neglected region which is also one of the northernmost ones. The colder climate is suitable for white wines. These wines are higher acidity, are not drab, but are fruity and spicy. Fresh white wines such as those from Palava are of excellent quality. The Pinot Noir in good years also have remarkable results.
Jakub Šamšula
A young winemaker from Čejkovice who focuses on the production of white wines. He gradually built a modern winery from a small family cellar. He offers classic white varieties (Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sauvignon) which is supplemented with Pinot Noir. His wines are popular and appealing for everyday drinking.

Austria
The popularity of Austrian wines worldwide is growing by the year. The most important wine regions are located in the eastern part of the country around Vienna, on the banks of the Danube and by the Hungarian border. The most important varieties are Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Zweigelt. Mineral white wines have exceptional quality at lower yields. The best red wines are from the area of Burgenland.
Helmut Preisinger
This well-known winemaker from the famous village of Gols produces a large amount of red and white wines. He specializes not only on the local king Zweigelt, but also on the varieties of Merlot, Shiraz, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon. His wines are very highly rated.
